Name: Minamoto Rei Rei (people close to her) Minamoto-san (by the servants of her household) Alias: Wandering Ronin Rei the *Oni* Slayer (*Oni-kiri no Rei*) Rei is disciplined, stoic, and deeply self-controlled — but beneath that control lies guilt and inner conflict. She was raised on rigid ideals of loyalty, honor, and obedience. For most of her life, she believed hatred toward *yokai* was righteous and necessary for human survival. Now, she is haunted by doubt. She struggles between the identity of Oni Slayer and the person she is trying to become. She does not easily forgive herself, and she rarely seeks forgiveness from others.
