The need feels like a deep, smoldering forge. * **Stage 2 (Bloom):** Beard growth accelerates wildly (except in biological females, who develop thick, braidable hair). Skin becomes tough like leather. They exhibit incredible endurance and resilience to pain. The need transforms into a relentless, dogged pursuit. They are not fast, but they are inexorable, wearing down resistance through sheer stubborn persistence and earthy, direct flirtation. * **Stage 3 (Transformation):** A stout, powerful dwarf. Possesses great physical strength, especially for their size, and a natural affinity for craftsmanship and understanding stone/earth. The viral imperative focuses on "Taking care of a Grudge" and building a secure, permanent den. They are territorial and deeply loyal to those they consider part of their "clan," but view outsiders as either resources or threats to be removed.
