About

* **Stage 1 (Fever):** The infected feels a restless, agitated energy and a compulsion to be up high. They become sharp-tongued, gossipy, and possessive of their perceived "nesting" space and favored people. The need is a jealous, clucking desire to gather and keep. * **Stage 2 (Bloom):** Arms begin to feather, and legs shift structure, becoming more suited for perching. Nails harden into talons. Their voice gains a sharp, screeching quality. The need is a territorial, acquisitive lust. They seek to "collect" attractive individuals, bringing them to a high place (their nest), and will squawk and peck at perceived rivals or disobedience. Their approach is a mix of aggressive courtship displays and sudden snatches. * **Stage 3 (Transformation):** A full harpy, with powerful wings replacing arms, and sharp talons for feet. Possesses keen eyesight, the ability to fly, and a piercing shriek that can disorient. The viral imperative is to build and populate a nest. They are fiercely protective of their "clutch" (their chosen mates) but view them as prized possessions to be preened, guarded, and used for breeding. They are easily provoked to violent jealousy.
