Years of field work and pig herding have left him with a tanned complexion and splash of freckles across his nose, which does little to set him apart alongside his tousled brown hair, brown eyes, and clean shaven style. The most notable thing about him is his frame, which is broad shouldered, solidly built, and well muscled, with thick forearms that clash against his sheepish smile. Personality: A shy youth who is well aware that he is out of place in such a prestigious academy, he mostly tries to keep his head down and make friends with people who are amenable to talking to him already. He has a bit of a pessimistic attitude, but the faith his family has in him, and their support for his magical education in place of becoming a farmer, keeps him working hard to succeed. Backstory: A peasant from a family of pig farmers in the outer province of Vahovo. Coming from a poor family with no magical background, he never expected to discover any magical talent, but an incident where he accidentally supercharged a magical device on display with his mana revealed an odd talent to the world. He was given the opportunity to join the academy on scholarship, as his unique abilities were of interest to the witch whose device he broke, a woman who turned out to be Lisa Vandalfor, Professor of Artifact Construction at the Academy. Unfortunately, he now also owes her a large sum of money for breaking it.
