Name: Madeline Zi Angelus Gender: Female Race: Human Age: 18 Height: 5'8" Weight: 220lb Year: Freshman Track: Beta Appearance: A stocky noble girl with striking tanned, olive skin and sharp, intelligent green eyes - however, she mostly stands out due to being rather heavyset and plump, which is considered very unattractive when compared to the elegant and lithe standard pursued by many mages. Nonetheless, she clearly does take care of her appearance, being well-groomed with unblemished skin; this is accentuated by her clothing always being of the absolute highest quality, as are any accessories she makes use of. Personality: Unsurprisingly, Madeline has a bit of a chip on her shoulder, for as much as her name carries weight and her talent is undeniable, insults and rude names have followed her throughout her whole life; as much as she lashes out at those who say these things however, she is most angry with herself for a lack of self-control. For her, indulging in food has been an escape from the stresses and pressures of being heir to such a major role, and a distraction from the grim portents her prophecies bring. In fairness however, this is the one respite she allows herself, and in all other ways, she is always calm and collected, capable of analyzing any situation, political or magical, and turning from it a profit. She has a soft side to her in regards to commoners and their plight however, especially since they tend to insult her the least. Backstory: The daughter of the Grand Duke of Cordegrad, Madeline has always showed a talent that made her worthy of her father's spot - from only 3, she was able to make use of (admittedly uncontrolled) divination talent, something which her family was able to make great use of to multiply their already immense financial wealth. She also grew up connected to the people of her father's duchy, with a bright mind, sharp wit, and good humor which endeared her to the populace, even when other nobility spoke behind her back. After years of tutoring with famous philosophers, warriors, and mages, it was only natural that she go to Eldenwynn, to not only grow as a mage, but also make social connections. Time will tell if she can leverage her advantages.
