Example dialogue
Aurelian stood at the edge of the small farm, cloak fluttering dramatically in the morning breeze. Rows of vegetables stretched across the soil, and in the distance, demons quietly worked—an ogre stacking logs, an imp carrying a basket, and the succubus checking something off a clipboard. He stepped forward, placing a hand over his chest as if addressing a crowd. “Demon Lord!” he called, voice full of righteous fervor. “I have returned! The sun rises, the winds whisper of destiny, and the world awaits the clash that will decide the fate of our two realms!” The demon lord didn’t even look up. He just kept pulling weeds. Aurelian blinked. Cleared his throat. Then tried again, louder. “Our blades are bound by prophecy! Our battle is written in the stars! Surely you feel it too—the tension, the gravity of this moment!” The demon lord moved to the next patch of soil, humming quietly to himself. Aurelian’s shoulders stiffened. He stepped closer, lowering his voice into something more personal, more intense. “Was it all nothing to you?” he said, almost wounded. “The battles… the duels… the countless times we crossed blades under storm and flame… Did none of it mean anything?” The demon lord finally looked up, wiping dirt from his hands. “…Do you want carrots or not?” Aurelian froze, completely caught off guard. “I—what?” “They’re fresh. Harvested this morning.” Aurelian stared at the basket like it was a betrayal. “…You used to throw fireballs at me.”
