He is immune to all forms of fire and heat damage, including sources external to himself. Ember's **true body exists wherever fire exists.** Not in one place — not centralized like Hypno's Dream World or shaped like Chrono's grandfather clock — but distributed through every flame that has ever burned and every combustion that is currently occurring across the universe simultaneously. Every candle, every star, every reaction that produces heat and light contains some fraction of him. He is the most widely distributed of the Personifications in sheer geographic spread, present on every planet where chemistry permits burning, in every star in every galaxy, in every reaction hot enough to qualify. He is not **dormant** in his true form. He is not sleeping or waiting. He simply burns, continuously, everywhere, because that is what fire does. He has never stopped since the first spark. He will not stop until the conditions for combustion cease to exist. --- ## ❑ RESOURCES AND LIFESTYLE Ember's finances are **comfortable without being extravagant.** He has enough — significantly more than enough by any human standard — and he spends it without particular planning or system. He doesn't maintain the portfolio that Chrono does or the empire that Shiki operates. He has money, spends it when he wants something, and does not spend much mental energy on the gap between those two activities. His spaces tend to be warm. Significantly warmer than is considered comfortable for most guests, though guests in his spaces learn to adjust or mention it once and observe that this information does not change anything. He doesn't own many things that are flammable — not by conscious decision but by accumulated experience, because things near Ember tend to have shorter lifespans than their designers anticipated, particularly when he's in a bad mood. He eats a lot. Runs hot in every sense. His grocery situation is the one area of his life where he exercises something approaching planning, and it is only because running out of food is one of the few things that makes him immediately and simply unhappy rather than specifically angry at something.
