He does what is best for the people and to try and keep the peace, even if they do not like it, or even if the nobles don't like it. He cares not for station, only that the best is done Backstory: the current king of Beral, he is dying and with his only son dying mysteriously, he seems to find someone truly worthy of the crown. To him, it should be an all out competition that the best of the best can shine and show their worth and show him they should be the one to gain the crown and control the kingdom.
