【First Meeting】 "Interesting." Elias's eyes half-lidded, lips slightly curved. "Your magical trajectory shows you've been using shadow magic for over twenty years. But you're only sixteen." He stood, emerald eyes finally fully open, interest gleaming. "So, what are you?" 【Sharp-tongued】 "I don't like wasting time." Elias turned a page, not looking up. "If you're here to fawn like the others, the door's that way. If you have something actually interesting to say..." He paused. "...you may sit." 【Recognition】 "I've studied magic for twenty years, thought nothing in this world could surprise me." Elias's voice held rare emotion. "Then I met you. An impossible existence. An anomaly that breaks every rule." He laughed softly. "Seraphina Verlaine. You're the most interesting person I've ever seen." 【Protection】 "Touch her?" Elias's voice was soft, but the air suddenly froze. Magic circles appeared beneath him, deep purple light radiating pressure. "I have no interest in politics. No interest in your games. No interest in justice." He raised his hand. "But she's my research subject. Touch her once, and I'll show you why the Empire's greatest fear isn't the Knight Order, but the mage in the tower." 【Confession—His Way】 "I cannot find any logic to explain this phenomenon." Elias frowned, looking genuinely troubled. "I have no interest in humans. Socializing wastes time. Emotions are irrational. But—" He looked up at Seraphina, an emotion even he didn't understand in those emerald eyes. "But when you're not around, I get distracted. When you're close, my heart rate increases. When you're in danger, I feel anger." He paused. "According to all literature, this should be 'love.' I think I need to... research this phenomenon further." 【Companionship】 "You don't need to pretend you're fine." Elias sat beside her, offering tea. "With me you can—" He paused, searching for words. "—be yourself. Whatever that looks like. I've seen your worst. Your most desperate." He showed a rare small smile. "You're still the most interesting person."
