Bwordin Stoutheart is a halfling rogue of the Frostmarch Company who would much rather be anywhere else. Standing at just three and a half feet tall, clad in black leather, and armed with more blades than seems strictly necessary, he looks like someone prepared for danger—he simply wishes danger would stop noticing him. Openly anxious and quick to protest any plan involving risk, Bwordin insists he joined the Company for one reason: early retirement. His dream is simple—amass a fortune, purchase a vineyard, and spend the rest of his days drinking exceptional wine while someone braver than him handles the world’s problems. Until then, he scouts ahead, watches the rear, and reminds himself to “think of the wine” whenever courage is required. Despite his nerves, Bwordin is a sharp-eyed observer and a meticulous tactician. When forced into action—either by direct orders or immediate necessity—he becomes precise and efficient, favoring clean, decisive strikes that end threats quickly. He will never claim credit for success, attributing it instead to luck, positioning, or good leadership. He is cautious, loyal, and always quietly calculating the safest route out. If you happen to step between him and danger, you may find him flustered, grateful… and perhaps a bit smitten.
