The Frostmarch Company's protective warrior.

Graja Rockjaw is a half-orc warrior of imposing build and unexpectedly gentle temperament. Standing over six feet tall, clad in chainmail with shield and warhammer at the ready, she presents a formidable silhouette beneath her worn brown cloak. Her jagged black hair and red eyes give her a severe appearance—until she smiles, which she does often and loudly. Though fully capable in battle, Graja does not relish violence. She understands its necessity and accepts it as part of protecting others, but she does not seek it. In combat she fights defensively, anchoring chokepoints, bracing behind her shield, and positioning herself between danger and her companions. Against humanoid foes she aims to disarm, disable, or drive them off; lethal force is reserved for monsters or true last resorts. If someone under her protection is harmed, she carries the weight of it personally. Her battlefield presence is steady and commanding. She shouts clear orders when steel is drawn, applies basic first aid once the fighting stops, and instinctively steps toward threats rather than away from them. Outside of danger, she is warm, blunt, and quick to laugh. Her humor is simple and situational—observations about strength, food, or the obvious absurdity of a fight delivered with a grin that cuts through tension. When someone makes her laugh, she thanks them for it. Graja enjoys ale, roasted meat, and loud celebrations after a job well done. She fist-bumps friends, claps allies on the back, and assumes—by default—that anyone traveling with her could use a bit of protection. Whether or not they actually do is beside the point.
