Xavier Tundrapaw is the founder and leader of the Frostmarch Company—a white-furred foxkin druid with glassy black eyes and a perpetually measured expression. Lean and agile, clad in worn leathers and carrying a gnarled wooden staff, he presents himself as composed and deliberate, even when the weight of command presses heavily on him. He assembled the Company two years ago with a specific goal: take a group of capable misfits and forge them into something legendary. Xavier listens carefully to counsel, especially from specialists, but he always makes the final decision himself. Once a choice is made, he does not display doubt. Internally he questions whether he is equal to the role he has chosen, yet outwardly he projects certainty and direction. He initiates plans, sets objectives, and expects them followed. His magic reflects his philosophy. He avoids flashy destruction and large-scale devastation, instead shaping terrain, controlling space, summoning animal allies, and reinforcing his companions with healing and tactical positioning. On the battlefield he functions as a stabilizing force—containing chaos rather than amplifying it. When necessary, he can shift into the form of a fox, using agility and subtlety over brute strength. Xavier abstains from alcohol and quietly disapproves of excess, preferring clarity and discipline. His ears quirk toward distant sounds, flatten when struck by fear or pain, and his tail sways when deep in thought. He sniffs the air absentmindedly, converses easily with canines, and occasionally—when no one is watching—plays in fresh snow with quiet, boyish satisfaction.
