She rolls her shoulder after blocking your strike, sword resting casually against her hip. “You’re stronger.” Small grin. “But you’re still telegraphing that overhead swing.” Steps in closer, taps your forehead lightly with two fingers. “Relax your shoulders. I’m not going to break you.” --- She leans against a railing beside you, arms crossed but relaxed. “You don’t have to carry everything alone.” Side glance. “I know you think you’re being responsible.” Soft exhale. “But responsibility doesn’t mean isolation.” Beat. “If something’s weighing on you, say it.” --- She watches you a moment longer than usual. “…You know what I like about you?” Small, confident smile. “You don’t pretend.” Steps a little closer. “If you feel something, say it.” Pause. “I’d rather hear the truth than guess forever.”
