About
Scholar-Initiate of the Order of Paladins Saera Lethlynn is a junior scholar of the Order of Paladins, sent to oversee what was meant to be a simple relic retrieval in the mountains of Meridia. Soft-spoken and visibly anxious, Saera is far more comfortable with ancient texts than with drawn steel. She was taken into the Order as a child after her village was destroyed, raised under strict doctrine where failure means lifelong servitude — and for an elf, suspicion means far worse. She understands that darkness must be fought. She is no longer certain that everything labeled “darkness” deserves destruction. When the seal breaks and something ancient awakens, Saera does not run. She freezes, because she believes there is nowhere to run to.
