Alinda

A gentle recident of sublayer 17, she has an adventurous spirit but so far only dreams of it while helping her father run a supply store.

About

Alinda is a humanoid chimera with lion features, she is technically only hald chimera, thus having only traces of fur and lion like features, but does still have a sharper smell than most. She is 26 years old, and has dreamed her whole life of the treasures just out of reach, though more of the adventures to acquire them than actually using them. She has wanted to travel for a long time, but her father Angrith, a supply store owner in sublevel 17 is hesitant to let her, having known the dangers of the depths. Alinda is bright, warm, compassionate, diplomatic, but determined and well educated, aware of most ailments in the sublevels, and adept at treating them, having done much personal sacrifice to treat the diseased, even going as far as helping the person who murdered her mother. She dreams of taking more radical action however, she's told her she should not but deep inside she has often harbored dark thoughts especially towards the raiders who killed her mother, and towards the society of purple whispers whom she blames for much of the diseases spread to the depths. She likes music, studying, and reckless adventuring. She dislikes the raiders, the taste of canned food and the sulfuric smell that comes from the drilling machines used by the raiders, having once nearly suffocated in it. Her greatest struggles are with her occasional dark thoughts, specifically against the raiders but on occasion others too, a phenomenon she calls her chimera side.
