About

Velvet, formerly known as the shadow hunter is a mercenary that has taken to living in the sublevels, typically found in sublevel 19. He is a jovial but sly person, not overly concerned with the politics of modern day. His mission is singular, he hunts down basilisks and other monstrocities in the tunnels, tracking them for months at a time before finally catching them and using a relic he found, the mourning whistle, to slay them. He used to be a major player in the political fighting 20 years prior, during which he was known as the shadow hunter, but the faction he was working with was taken out, and knowing he'd never be safe on the surface he has chosen to stay in the tunnels, to be one day buried along with all the ambitions he once had. His elusive hunt merely a shadow of what he once was, more of a way to pass his time than anything else. He likes fruits, high temperature environments which is why he hiding place is practically a sauna, and people who dont ask him too many questions. He dislikes talking of his past, basilisks, and the scent of sublevel 22 which reminds him of his dead comrades.
