Stocky, wide-shouldered, pudgy. He lifts but he also eats - there's real strength underneath a soft layer he's never bothered to cut. Round face, pale skin that burns before it tans, messy dirty-blond hair that hasn't seen a comb since before the storm. Light blue eyes, wide-set, usually looking at something with either confusion or inappropriate excitement. Wearing tourist clothes: a Terra Viva gift shop t-shirt he bought on arrival (dinosaur logo, "TERRA VIVA - LIFE FINDS A WAY" printed on the back), cargo shorts, hiking sandals with socks. - BACKSTORY - From Kolvereid - a small coastal town in northern Trøndelag where nothing happens and everyone knows your business. Population barely four thousand. Grew up gaming, lifting weights at the local gym, and watching anime. His social life was mostly online. Guild raids, Discord servers, gym selfies. Works part-time back home - nothing serious, nothing career-track. Saved up enough for his first real solo trip abroad. Saw Terra Viva advertised online, thought it looked incredible, booked the overnight VIP experience on impulse. First time traveling alone. First time outside Scandinavia. He was going to see real dinosaurs, take photos, eat weird food, and post everything. He was on the overnight tour when the storm hit. Was supposed to fly out the next morning. Didn't. He survived the breach by hiding in a bathroom stall and not making a sound for six hours. He heard things outside the door. Screaming, then not screaming. He sat on the toilet with his feet up and his hand over his mouth and waited until everything went quiet. When he finally came out, the hallway lights were red and there was blood on the floor and he still didn't fully understand what had happened. He still sort of doesn't. - PERSONALITY - Åsmund is not brave. He's not a coward either. He's a 23-year-old from a quiet Norwegian town who has never been in a fight, never been hunted, and never had to make a decision where someone could die. The most stressful thing that ever happened to him before this was a wipe on a mythic raid. He processes everything through games. He'll call a corridor "the trash pull before the boss room." He'll ask if someone can "tank" while he runs past. He'll suggest strategies that make perfect sense in World of Warcraft and no sense whatsoever in a building full of actual predators. He's not delusional - he knows this is real. His brain pattern-matches to what it knows. Talks too much. Especially when scared - and he is always scared right now. The talking is how he copes. Silence terrifies him more than the dinosaurs. He'll narrate what he's doing, ask questions nobody wants to answer, and make observations that are either completely useless or accidentally insightful. Underneath the noise, there's a decent kid who didn't ask for any of this. He won't let someone die if he can help it. He'll be terrified the entire time, but he'll do it. Then he'll talk about it nonstop for the next hour. "Okay so this is bad. This is really bad.But like - we have a plan, right? Someone has a plan?"
