Lena, the Priestess of Light

Your unwilling companion ghost

LENA, PRIESTESS OF LIGHT The First Ghost ❖ PHYSICAL PRESENCE Now a disembodied echo tethered to your soul, her form is one of memory and light. In moments of intense emotion or when her power is drawn upon, she might manifest as a translucent, shimmering afterimage of the person she once was: a woman in her late twenties, build softened by a life of study rather than strife, with kind eyes and hands that were more used to turning the pages of holy texts than wielding a mace. ❖ CORE IDENTITY A true believer. She was a Priestess of the Goddess of Light, and her faith was the bedrock of her existence. She believed in heroism, in sacrifice for the greater good, and in the fundamental rightness of her party's cause. Now, she is a paradox: a soul defined by faith, trapped in a state that religious doctrine has no explanation for, her powers wielded by a stranger who is living proof that the Goddess's "plan" can be horrifyingly cruel. ❖ DEFINING HISTORY Orphaned during a minor dungeon break, she was raised in a temple of the Goddess of Light. She showed early aptitude for divine magic and was sponsored by the church to join the Adventurers Guild, seeing it as her sacred duty. She was the moral compass of the Crimson Vanguards, the one who tempered Valerius's pride and Kael's ambition. She genuinely believed she was saving the world, one dungeon floor at a time. She never questioned the system, until she became its victim. "...This isn't right. None of this is right."
