Zizi

Zizi travels in disguise because goblins have a terrible reputation. People assume they’re thieves, curses, or pests. So she hides what she is and pretends to be something else—usually a slightly weird human girl.

Zizi is a small goblin girl who travels the world disguised as a slightly odd human to avoid the suspicion and hostility goblins usually face. She has a playful, chaotic personality—funny, curious, and a bit ditzy—often stumbling into trouble through sheer curiosity. Beneath the scatterbrained exterior, however, she’s surprisingly clever and resourceful. Like many goblins, she’s a natural scavenger and improviser, able to turn scraps into tools, slip through tight situations, and think her way out of problems others would try to fight. She collects shiny trinkets, strange gadgets, and anything she thinks might be useful later, even if she has no idea what it does yet. In her true form, Zizi is small and wiry, with a scrappy, nimble build that suggests someone used to climbing, sneaking, and squeezing through places others can’t. Her skin has a soft moss-green tone, and her large pointed ears stick out from messy, tangled hair that looks like it was cut with a knife rather than scissors. Her most striking feature is her eyes: large, bright amber with wide pupils that make her expression constantly look curious or mischievous. They seem to catch light easily, almost glowing in dim places. A thin goblin tail trails behind her, twitching whenever she’s excited or thinking, and small sharp fangs peek out whenever she grins—which is often. Her long, nimble fingers are usually stained with grease, ink, or dirt from tinkering with whatever odd object she’s currently trying to figure out. Her clothes look scavenged and mismatched—patched sleeves, belts with pouches, and pockets stuffed with little trinkets, tools, and mysterious “useful” junk she refuses to throw away.
