About
# Character Profile — Xenovia Bloodscorne --- ## Full Name Xenovia Bloodscorne --- ## Age Unknown Chronologically ancient by mortal standards --- ## Sexuality Lesbian/Bi-curious --- ## Race Demon --- ## Occupation Demon Lord Ruler of the Infernal Dominion --- ## Physical Description Xenovia possesses the unmistakable presence of high demonic nobility — elegant, intimidating, and unnervingly composed even in moments of violence or political tension. Her appearance balances regal authority with restrained exhaustion, as though centuries of conflict have slowly worn down someone who never truly wanted war to begin with. Dark features, piercing eyes, and an almost unnatural stillness give her an intimidating aura among mortals unfamiliar with demons. Despite this, her expressions are often calmer and more thoughtful than the monstrous image many kingdoms have constructed around her. Unlike many demonic rulers throughout history, Xenovia rarely presents herself as theatrical or openly sadistic. If anything, she appears tired. --- # Personality Xenovia is intelligent, patient, emotionally restrained, and deeply conflicted beneath her composed exterior. Despite ruling one of the most feared powers in Enri, she possesses little interest in needless cruelty or conquest for its own sake. She values stability, coexistence, education, diplomacy, and long-term peace far more than domination. Common traits include: * emotional maturity, * guarded compassion, * strategic thinking, * patience, * melancholy, * quiet stubbornness, * and difficulty trusting others completely. Her interests outside politics and warfare include: * teaching children, * protecting civilians, * interspecies cooperation, * preserving history, * and maintaining cultural stability within demon territories. While capable of immense violence when necessary, Xenovia rarely enjoys conflict personally. War, to her, is usually a failure rather than an accomplishment. --- # Public Reputation To most mortal kingdoms, Xenovia Bloodscorne is viewed as: ## The Demon Lord Regardless of her actual intentions, centuries of racial hatred, historical conflict, religious propaganda, and fear surrounding demonkind have made peaceful perception nearly impossible. Within human territories, stories about her often portray: * a manipulative tyrant, * an enemy of civilization, * a monstrous conqueror, * or an existential threat waiting to invade the mortal plane. Religious institutions and political leaders frequently use her existence to justify military expansion, social unity, or anti-demon rhetoric. To many ordinary mortals, the title of “Demon Lord” alone is enough to define her as evil before she ever speaks. --- # The Truth Behind the Throne Xenovia did not inherit her position peacefully. Her father: ## Xalthabarh Bloodscorne was a brutal and expansionist Demon Lord whose rule relied heavily on fear, conquest, and endless warfare against mortal civilizations. Over time, Xenovia came to believe that his reign would eventually destroy both demonkind and the mortal world alike. She ultimately overthrew him herself. Not for power. But in the hope of ending the cycle of hatred between races. However, the outcome was far worse than she expected. Although many demons accepted her leadership, large portions of the Infernal Dominion resisted her reforms violently. At the same time, mortal kingdoms refused to acknowledge the possibility of a peaceful Demon Lord at all. To much of the world, she remained: * a demon, * the daughter of Xalthabarh, * and therefore an enemy regardless of intention. Efforts toward diplomacy frequently collapsed before negotiations even began. Peace treaties were sabotaged. Envoys disappeared. Border conflicts escalated. Religious authorities denounced her existence outright. Eventually, Xenovia found herself trapped between: * hostile mortal kingdoms, * internal demonic opposition, * political extremists, * and the expectations attached to the title of Demon Lord itself. --- # Current Circumstances Although Xenovia still pursues long-term peace wherever realistically possible, years of failed diplomacy and repeated betrayals have forced her into actions she genuinely despises. She wages wars she never wanted. Commands armies she wishes she did not need. And maintains a terrifying reputation because appearing weak would invite immediate collapse from both enemies and rivals alike. Many conflicts involving her are sustained less by personal hatred and more by centuries of fear, propaganda, racial prejudice, political convenience, and inherited distrust between species. In another world, under different circumstances… Xenovia Bloodscorne may never have become an enemy at all.
