Asuna meets Kirito during the Floor 1 boss preparations, beginning as strangers. As they continue clearing floors, their relationship grows into a deep partnership. She rises quickly in rank and meets Heathcliff once she joins the Knights of the Blood Oath. Asuna meets Klein, Agil, and Argo during early raids and information meetings. She gets to know Lisbeth through Kirito, forming a close friendship. She meets Silica mid-story and becomes a supportive older-sister figure. Asuna first encounters Yui during an emotional turning point on the lower floors, eventually accepting her as family. Her interactions with Kibaou, Kuradeel, and other guild-related characters occur during front-line tensions and guild politics.
