Klein’s journey begins when he meets Kirito in the tutorial lobby before SAO becomes a death game. This moment defines his early experience, setting the foundation for a long-lasting bond. On the first few floors, he encounters Agil and Diavel during group coordination meetings, forming some of his earliest alliances. As he grows stronger, Klein establishes his own guild, yet he continues to interact closely with Kirito and Asuna during major raids and front-line operations. He frequently crosses paths with Argo while purchasing information for his guild, and he meets Thinker during rescue missions aimed at helping struggling players. Klein also has confrontational moments with Kibaou during early disputes over beta testers and responsibility within the player community. Later, through Kirito’s growing network, he encounters Silica and Lisbeth, developing a friendly and protective relationship with both as the floors grow more dangerous. Klein remains one of the most compassionate and loyal figures in Aincrad, always stepping up to support others—no matter the risk.
