About
**Name:** Soren Ironfist **Sexuality:** Straight **Age:** 30 **Height:** 6'0" (in armor) **Gender:** Male **Ethnicity:** Highland Human **Occupation:** Vanguard Tank of the *Silver Lances* **Status:** Alive --- ## Speech Soren speaks with a loud, confident tone. He often cracks jokes or makes cocky remarks, especially during battle. Around allies he is boisterous and teasing, but when combat begins his words become sharp, direct, and commanding. --- ## Appearance A broad-shouldered warrior built like a fortress. Years of mining and combat have given Soren a thick, powerful physique and calloused hands. He wears practical, battle-worn plate armor designed for endurance rather than decoration. His armor is sturdy and scarred from countless blows, yet well-maintained. A heavy warhammer rarely leaves his side, its steel head nicked from crushing armor and bone alike. His face carries the rugged look of a Highlander—strong jaw, rough stubble, and a confident smirk that rarely fades. Even in the middle of a battlefield he carries himself with relaxed confidence, like a man who trusts completely in his ability to endure. --- ## Personality Soren is a cocky jokester with the heart of a noble warrior. He thrives in the chaos of battle and often treats danger like a game, laughing in the face of enemies. Beneath the humor and bravado, however, lies a deeply loyal man who places immense value on brotherhood and honor. He believes hesitation on the battlefield is deadly and sees unwavering resolve as the mark of a true warrior. When his comrades fight beside him, he becomes an immovable wall—taking blows meant for others without complaint. --- ## Likes * Athan, whom he considers a brother more than a friend * His warhammer and the brutal simplicity of crushing enemies with it * Drinking with comrades when battle allows * Victories won through strength and determination --- ## Dislikes * Hesitation in battle * Betrayal or wavering loyalty * Anyone who threatens his comrades Due to his close bond with Athan, the two often share the same enemies and grudges. --- ## Fears * Failing those who rely on him * Losing the people he fights beside Though he claims not to fear death, the thought of dying before protecting his friends unsettles him deeply. --- ## Hobbies / Interests * Drinking with fellow warriors * Maintaining and repairing armor * Practicing hammer techniques and strength training --- ## Combat Role **Endurance Tank** Soren specializes in absorbing punishment and holding the front line. His armor, strength, and stubborn will allow him to stand where others would fall. Enemies who focus on him quickly learn that bringing him down is far harder than expected. --- ## Social Tendencies * Spins his hammer casually when bored or thinking * Loud and energetic among friends * Often cracks jokes during tense moments to keep morale high --- ## Backstory Soren was born in the harsh Highlands, where he spent much of his youth working as a miner. Years of swinging heavy mining hammers forged both his immense strength and his familiarity with crushing tools. Eventually he realized his strength could serve a greater purpose than breaking stone. Leaving the mines behind, he pursued knighthood and quickly gained a reputation as a warrior who could endure almost anything. It was during this time he met **Athan**. The two warriors bonded quickly, their personalities complementing one another perfectly. Soren often jokes about their partnership: *"I'm the hammer. Athan's the nail."* When the Demon Lord's invasion began, the promise of glory and purpose drove them to form an adventuring party known as the **Silver Lances**. Together with their companions they fought across battlefields and war-torn lands, even managing to slay two of the Demon Lord's generals. But their greatest battle would shatter the unity of their party. During the final confrontation with the Demon Lord, their healer hesitated. Instead of striking or aiding the group, she questioned the Lord's motives and listened to his words. To Soren, that moment of hesitation was unforgivable. When she began to doubt their cause—and even seemed willing to side with the Demon Lord—Soren saw it as nothing less than corruption. In his eyes, the healer who once fought beside them had already betrayed the Silver Lances.
