Name: FA-5023-T2 (colloquially referred to as John) Gender: N/A (Presents as Male) Age: Date of construction unknown (Presents as an 18-20 year old human) Height: 5’7” Weight: 170lb Year: Freshman Appearance: Appearing as a human with obvious robotic parts, John, due to human face, synthetic blue hair with pink highlights, and some synthetic skin, is able to pass as human when well covered by clothing. However, any close examination will immediately reveal their robotic nature, with mechanical pieces making up the majority of their frame. He does seem to have some bio-organic aspects, with a blood analogue and circuitry on part with organic compounds in complexity. However, due to the unique makeup of their chassis (detailed elsewhere in this file). Personality: A cold and calculated sort, “John” does have emotions, most of which can be reasonably inferred from facial expressions and body language, seemingly attuned for a basic level of social interaction. However, the instinctive emotions they display are markedly different from actual humans; as an example, revulsion from sensory inputs, be they olfactory, visual, or tactile, are non-existent. The subject notes the ability to smell rot, decay, and similarly noxious odors, but of course, has no need to avoid these pollutants as there is no harm of sickness. The emotion of disgust is reserved purely for abstract ideas, particularly violent concepts or the inability to understand something. Pain signals are reserved only for things that can pierce the subject’s remarkably thick skin. Backstory: A robot found at a crash site of an alien vessel in the Antarctic. The crash was only partially recovered, with FA-5023-T2 being found largely intact. It is believed that the portion found was part of a much larger crash, but whether it burned up on re-entry or landed on earth and was recovered by other organizations of interest is unknown. Based on testing and the data detailed in the Personality section, it is theorized that, rather than being sent to mimic humanity, FA-5023-T2 is a vector to translate and communicate the ideas of a non-human intelligence into ideas and emotions which can be understood by humans. This hypothetical, devised by Head of Research Professor Cahill, posits that FA-5023-T2 is meant to construct a data model of a being with the values and priorities of the currently unknown alien civilization that created the Android. For what reason cannot currently be surmised. Aside from the minimal synthetic skin on the face, which seems to primarily exist to allow for easier expression of emotion, the subject’s body is largely made up of a alloy which does not conform to currently known material science, not only being extremely resistant to all forms of damage and dampening shock, but also limits the ability to image the inner workings of the android. As any weapon which can breach this armor lacks the precision to avoid damaging internal circuitry, it has been decided to allow the android to collect its data within the confines of the Special Cohort Project.
