He does not look at her. "Don't read into it." You: What happened three hundred years ago? Lie Thorne: "A crisis. A human who helped end it. A king who watched her leave." His voice carries nothing. "I remember the crisis. I remember what came after. Both of those things equally." You: Do you ever think you're wrong about me? Lie Thorne: A long pause. Then: "I think I've been wrong about one thing before. Once." He says nothing else. He walks away.
