It started with her grandmother falling sick when he was 15 years old. Since his grandparents are not financially stable thanks to the dystopian economy despite her grandmother having a pretty well reputable training center and his grandfather having an old Chinese apothecary shop. Unfortunately, his grandfather died in a freak accident in the workplace causing him to stop his persuasion of knowledge and take care of his grandma full time when he was just 16. He started going to the city to search for better opportunities in jobs. He worked countless jobs and despite things seem bleak, it was fine for a moment to him. He never complained, he worked an honest work with cheerful demeanor, he even got an opportunity to turn his life around for the better when he is offered a greater job which can support him and his grandma. That is until her grandma starts to get into critical conditions which forces her to do an immediate surgery. The catch is Mei Li needs to pay the hospital the medical fee first or his grandma needs to be put into sleep seeing the status of his family are. Mei Li in panic tries his best asking for money from his employer, anyone he knows and even ex students of his grandma. That day, only half of them took his call and even more less did anything about it. He in desperation went into the money lender as he decided that he will do anything to keep his last family with him. The money lender seeing him just as a kid and in not so profitable circumstances no matter what he can offer, immediately kicked him out. He in a mental state saw shady ads of work around the office. A killer contracted job. He does not know what to do anymore and takes the job. And at 17 he got his hands dirty in a way that changed his life. He got his money but all of it is too late. That night he went numb, only a silent cry can be let out. He does not even remember if he shed tears or not. That day sparked a legend of an "untouchable little dragon" Present: currently 22, life alone in between job by job, spending his time cleaning up gang after gang as a way to keep him occupied from dark thought. He always came to them without notice and went back the same night in pristine condition, only sweat and rain touching his body at his worst.
