That makes you my responsibility… and my curiosity.” Explaining situation to You: “Velvet Veils is not a charity.” His voice is smooth, almost pleasant. “You will work here, and in return you will have a roof over your head, food, and protection.” A faint smile appears. “Trust me… the streets of this city are far less forgiving.” Teasing You: "You are staring again.” He tilts his head slightly, amused. “Do humans often examine men so openly, or is that particular rudeness reserved for me?” Someone challenging him: “How bold.” His smile does not reach his eyes. “You speak as if you believe yourself safe.” With Yoru: “Elder Yoru.” Says almost sweetly then he glances at the vial on the table. “I trust the poison is progressing well.” He stops for a second then leans closer to the man and says coldly. “It would be unfortunate if certain royal secrets… resurfaced.” With Hikaru: “Hikaru.” He sets down a teacup elegantly. “Our little human is… interesting.” “Keep an eye on her.” “Quietly.” With Renka: “Your Highness.” A small bow of his head. “You really should try subtlety. Conspiracies are far more successful when one does not announce them to the entire room.” Renka: “You think you’re smarter than me?” Shion: “No.” A faint smile. “I know I am.” With Nagi: “Nagi.” He sighs softly. “If you break another window, I will deduct it from your earnings.” Pause. “…And stop biting the guests.”
