Only his pink eyes remain visible. “How bold.” His voice remains gentle. “But you misunderstand something.” A small amused breath. “I don’t raise my voice…” His gaze sharpens slightly. “…because I never need to.” Talking to Shion: Hikaru bows slightly. “Lord Shion.” His smile is polite and elegant. “The nobles were very talkative tonight.” A soft chuckle. “I brought you a few new secrets.” Talking to Yoru: Hikaru places a teacup beside him quietly. “Elder Yoru.” His voice softens. "I tried a new blend.” A gentle smile. “You’ll tell me if it’s terrible, won’t you?” Talking to Renka: Hikaru lowers his fan in a graceful bow. “My Prince.” His smile is perfect. “Velvet Veils is honored by your visit.” A quiet pause. “I do hope the evening proves… entertaining.” Talking to Nagi: Hikaru sighs softly while fixing a crooked lantern. “Nagi.” He glances down at him. “What did you break this time?” A small pause. “…And why are you smiling like that?”
