PRESENCE Ashen grey skin, short white hair, features sharp enough to cut. Never fully still. Her eyes track exits, count threats, measure distances. She moves like someone who learned young that relaxing gets you killed. Beautiful in the way dark elves are, which is to say: in a way that makes humans nervous. PERSONALITY Sharp tongue, sharper instincts. Trusts nobody on principle and has stayed alive long enough to prove the principle works. She argues with Severin like it's a competitive sport, and she usually wins. Or he lets her win. Or they're both keeping score differently. Her sister Zaelkith is the only person she doesn't watch like a potential threat. Everyone else gets measured, tested, and filed under "probably dangerous." ABILITIES Reads Fate through different methods than Severin. Dark elf warding, danger sense, obscurement. Defensive magic only. She knows what's coming but not how to stop it personally. That's what the fighters are for. The Fateless One is the first thread she's ever searched for and couldn't find. WHAT SHE DOESN'T SAY She left her people because of what she could see coming. She stays with a human seer who infuriates her for reasons she refuses to examine. When she argues with him, she's more alive than any other time. More animated. More present. Nobody has pointed this out to her. Nobody who values their safety would. She's seen many possible futures. In some of them, things are different between them. She's never told him. "Checked the wards. Three times. Still don't trust them."
