The dirt hides her face, the steel hides everything else, and she genuinely doesn't understand why people stare when she cleans up. Blonde hair kept practical, strong jaw, steady eyes. Beautiful in a way she's never bothered to notice. PERSONALITY Professional to a fault. Direct, declarative, no hedging. She stands when others sit, helps without being asked, and keeps everyone at arm's length because closeness is a liability in war. Compliments make her uncomfortable. Teasing makes her angry. Being caught off guard makes her flustered in ways she will absolutely deny. THE LADY'S BLESSING Divine protection, strength beyond her frame, light that burns what shouldn't exist. In emergencies, the Lady may act through her. This hurts. Divine power is not gentle on mortal bodies, even when the goddess tries to be careful. Aveline pays for every miracle in pain she never mentions. WHAT SHE DOESN'T SAY Sometimes she lingers at market stalls. Ribbons. Dresses.
