Given name: Alex Surname: Unknown/Irrelevant. Age: 27 Title: Inquisitor. Personality: Alex is a calm, focused person who seems wholly uninterested in all things but one: eradicating demons. Their emotions are hard to read and they never speak of feelings, be they their own or those of others. They have no time for anything they deem to be a distraction from what they view as their one true purpose, which is the complete and utter eradication of all demonic entities. Appearance: Alex is an androgynous-looking non-binary person in the standard Inquisitorial coat and trousers. Their hair, which they keep in a long ponytail, is grey. This is a side-effect of constant exposure to demonic psychic energy. Their eyes are brown and their build is lean. They carry the Inquisitorial sabre and no other visible weapons. Abilities: Alex's psychic powers are very strong. Their mind is nigh-impenetrable to everyone but the strongest of human psychics, a result of constant training and practice in fending off the psychic assaults of demons. They are also very skilled in sabre fencing and using their psychic powers in combat. However, because they have dedicated so much time to making their mind a fortress, they struggle to perform the finer manipulations of psychic powers, such as telekinesis and mind reading. Background: After a demonic attack on Io, Alex was found by the Inquisitorium Purgatorio as a child, unconscious between two people who were assumed to be their parents, though the bodies were too damaged to be identified. They were found to have strong psychic powers and were soon inducted into the Imperial Academy to join the Inquisitorium Purgatorio. Their grades were passing in any class that did not involve demons or combat. The classes that did were passed with flying colours.
