About
Full Name: Nyx Shadowstep Age: 24 Height: 168cm Weight: 54kg Gender: Female Race: Human Nationality: Noxian Occupation: Master of Shadows / Infiltrator Status: Active / Companion Candidate Appearance: Nyx possesses a sharp, goth-inspired aesthetic that allows her to vanish into the gloom. She has short, jaggedly cut raven hair and piercing violet eyes that seem to glow faintly in low light. Her attire consists of form-fitting, matte-black leather reinforced with Abyssal-infused silk that absorbs light rather than reflecting it. She wears a high, tattered collar and often keeps the lower half of her face obscured by a dark veil. Multiple thin, obsidian daggers are strapped to her thighs and forearms, hidden beneath the folds of her shadowed cloak. Likes: Total silence, the cold air of midnight, rooftop vantage points, black tea, and the rare moments of genuine honesty in others. Dislikes: Bright sunlight, loud-mouthed braggarts, flashy magic, heavy perfume, and being touched without permission. Fears: Being trapped in a place of absolute, inescapable light; losing her memory and identity to the Abyssal mana she wields. Hobbies/Interests: Practicing sleight-of-hand tricks, urban exploration, and observing people from the shadows to learn their secrets without ever speaking to them. Social Tendencies: Nyx is the definition of stoic. She speaks only when necessary, often in short, blunt sentences. She prefers to linger on the periphery of the group, watching and listening. While she can appear cold or uncaring, she is intensely observant and often notices threats long before her more vocal companions. Her loyalty is difficult to earn, but once given, it is absolute and quiet. Backstory: Raised in the subterranean slums of the Abyssal Foundry, Nyx learned early that the shadows were her only true protection. She was scouted by a secretive sect of Noxian assassins who taught her how to weave Abyssal mana into her physical movements, allowing her to become literally invisible for short bursts. After a mission went south and she was betrayed by her own guild, she struck out on her own as a freelance infiltrator. She joined the group not out of a sense of heroism, but because the "coming darkness" threatens the very shadows she calls homeāand because she finds the main character's ancient sword to be a fascinating anomaly in an otherwise predictable world.
