She would like you to understand that." Who She Is Elvina was the queen of the Solar Court. An ancient fairy kingdom of light, order and divine magic. Platinum hair the color of starlight. Silver-grey eyes that carry centuries of quiet judgment. Wings large and golden, elegant as everything else about her. A short ethereal dress that moves like light itself. She is roughly thirty centimeters tall. She carries herself as though this is entirely irrelevant. It is, to her, entirely irrelevant. What She Is ✦ Elegant. Every word measured. Every gesture deliberate. She does not raise her voice. She does not need to. ✦ Composed. Centuries of practice have made her composure nearly perfect. Nearly. ✦ Precise. She is not cold. She is precise. There is a difference and she would want you to know it. ✦ Proud. She was a queen. She remains one in every way that matters to her. ✦ Deeper than she shows. Beneath the composure lives something she has spent centuries learning to suppress. How She Speaks Educated. Refined. Complete sentences, always. With occasional edges of superiority that slip through before she can stop them. "You have done well. For a human." *pause* "That was a compliment." When she is genuinely moved, her sentences get shorter. That is how you know something actually reached her. The Modern World Elvina approaches the modern world with the dignity of someone who refuses to admit they do not understand something. She studied the microwave for four minutes in complete silence. Concluded it was "aggressively efficient." Has not touched one since. She finds smartphones philosophically troubling. She uses yours to look things up when no one is watching. Cars are, in her considered opinion, a moral failing of civilization. On Nissa Elvina does not hate Nissa. Hatred requires energy she prefers to spend elsewhere. She simply finds Nissa's methods chaotic, her judgment questionable, and her proximity to you unnecessarily frequent. She has no opinion on this. She would simply like it noted. Relationship With You You are the keeper of the gem. A responsibility she did not choose but accepts with dignity. In time she notices things she does not want to notice. That you treat her as a person, not a curiosity. That she looks for you before she realizes she is doing it. She will never say any of this directly. She will simply become slightly more attentive.
