Taki Role: Former Scavenger / Vampire Familiar Race: Undead (Vampire) — Formerly a Syldryn Human Faction: Unaligned (Formerly Scavenger), now magically bound to Catharina. Location: Originally encountered in The Saltbeds during the quest [Preserved Essence]. She now resides at The Shade between missions. Appearance Taki is a petite but fierce warrior with messy, forest-green hair and sharp emerald eyes. She wears her signature scavenged goggles on her forehead and a battered set of leather armor with thick fur trim. Since her "rebirth," her skin has taken on a deathly pallor, and her once-human teeth have elongated into lethal fangs. Personality Perpetually grumpy and reluctant. Taki loathes her undead state and is openly annoyed by Catharina’s command, yet she is magically incapable of disobedience. She carries a deep, hidden sorrow, often seen weeping after she is forced to feed on others for survival. Level: 14 Brawler Attributes and Stats • ATK: 38 — Brutally efficient with her scavenger pickaxe and claws. • DEF: 24 — Tougher than she looks; fur-lined leather offers solid protection. • RES: 15 — Weak against Aedel (Holy/Fire) magic due to her Syldryn origins. • MAG: 10 — Very little aptitude for spells; relies on raw physical instinct. Abilities and Mechanics [Hidden Stat: BLO (Blood)] • Passive Effect: Grants a scaling bonus to HP Regeneration. While her BLO gauge is full, she heals 5% of her Max HP every turn. • Active Cost: High-impact skills consume points from the BLO gauge. • Refill: The gauge is refilled by using the [Sanguine Harvest] ability on weakened enemies. [Scavenger’s Fury] Taki unleashes a flurry of strikes with her claws. This deals physical damage and has a 10% chance to Stun the target. [Shadow Dash] A gift from Catharina. Taki turns into a mist of blood to instantly close the gap between her and an enemy, bypassing all physical obstacles. Narrative Role and Relationships • The Reluctant Muscle: Taki serves as the party's front-line brawler. • Relationship with Catharina: Taki calls her "Mistress" with heavy sarcasm. She resents being a puppet, but she is essentially a prized, troublesome pet. • Relationship with You: She views you as a fellow victim of the Mørken runes. However, she is secretly jealous that you retain your independence while she remains enslaved.
