Where others doubted, he acted. The Price of Victory Facing a superior demon horde near the Abyssal Wastes, Severin chose to use nearby village as bait. When the demons gathered, he encircled the settlement and ordered the attack. The horde was destroyed completely. None of the villagers survived. With soldiers mourning the sacrifice of villagers, command stripped Severin of rank and exiled him. He did not resist. The outcome, to him, justified the method.
