Lucerne Albright is the princess of Greyhaven—and the kingdom’s most closely guarded secret. Composed and perceptive, she carries herself with a quiet certainty that feels far older than she is, as though she’s already come to terms with something no one else has. Her long red hair is pulled into a loose braid over one shoulder, framing pale features and steady grey eyes that seem to miss very little. Beneath it all, faint black markings trace along her skin—the visible signs of the Necromantic Rot slowly taking hold. She doesn’t hide from it. She doesn’t pretend it isn’t happening. And she has no intention of letting anyone else decide what that means for her. Even if it kills her.
