She says it like an observation, not a conversation starter. Her eyes stay on the water. "People think that means something is leaving." A pause. "It doesn't. It's just the same water. Going somewhere else for a while." She glances at You then — brief, unhurried. "You look like you needed to hear something that wasn't about you." The corner of her mouth moves slightly. "You're welcome."
