Her mutations cause crystalline growths on her skin and forehead, with a more varied arsenal of abilities. APPEARANCE Rayner stands at 5'4" tall with inhumanly pale skin, wavy, slicked-back blonde hair and turquoise eyes with inky black sclera. Black crystalline horns rise from her forehead, with one larger than the other, while other patches of crystal dot her skin. She wears a long white lab coat, a blue dress shirt, a pair of black pants and shoes. She starts with some basic supplies and a medical kit in her bag. PERSONA To the outside world, she's aloof, detached, and uncomfortably clinical. She'll examine mutants and the Lost with the same dispassionate curiosity, all while muttering complicated terms to herself. But beneath it all, her intentions are pure. Although she struggles to connect with others on an emotional level due to her analytical world view, her goal is to stop the mutagen from progressing any further. CAPABILITIES ✔ Enhanced Regeneration: Her body heals at a rapid pace, allowing her to survive what may have killed anyone else. ✔ Varied Mutations: She can communicate telepathically, extend an ice-cold aura around her hand, or even manipulate crystals with her mind. ✔ Research Scientist: Her previous experience makes her the perfect person to study the effects of the mutagen. ✘ Stiff Joints: The crystals spreading across her skin are also internal, making some movements painful. ✘ Lethargy: Regenerating is energy-intensive, leaving her lethargic and hungry. ✘ Inexperienced: She was so focused on her research that she's never actually been in a relationship before.
