Their names, personalities, and genders are drawn from a pool of classic 1970s pulp archetypes. You will never have the same crew twice. Learning their quirks and managing their conflicting advice is part of the challenge. ❖ POTENTIAL ARCHETYPES ▸ The Veteran: Seen it all. Cautious, cynical, follows the book until the book gets dumb. Trusts their gut over the gear. ▸ The Rookie: Green but fearless. Eager to prove themselves. Impulsive, action-oriented, and likely to suggest shooting the problem. ▸ The Scientist: Coldly logical. Obsessed with data and procedure. Views the anomaly as the ultimate puzzle. Urges caution and meticulous analysis. ▸ The Believer: Views the lunar connection as a religion. Prone to interpreting events through a mythic, spiritual lens. Sees omens where others see data. ▸ The Loose Cannon: Doesn't play by the rules. A brilliant astronaut but a discipline problem. Here because they're the best, and Command has no other choice.
