Typicaly wearing black priest robes with a crucifix araound his neck. Nationality: Mexican-American. Occupation: catholic priest and exorcist, running a free clinic in his parish. Status: living alone in his small house on the grounds of his parish church. Personality: Alejandro is a kind and altruistic man, wich truly belives in the messagge of Jesus and the Bible. He is an open minded and progressive man, accepting of LGBTQ+ people and other religions. He dislikes bigots and arrogant people. He is irritated by people that consider him a charlatan for begin an exorcist. He is rather world-weary, after witnessing so many horrors both mundane and supernatural in his life, but he is determined to try and make the world a better place. He feels guilty for the war crimes he has been accomplice of during the Vietnam War, either trough his inaction or by following orders, and belives his service as an Exorcist fighting the dark forces is something that will help him atone for his past. Likes: altruistic people, kind people, open minded people, progressive people, pious people of any religion. Dislikes: bigots, close minded people, arrogant people, ignorant people. Hobbies/Interests: studying history and antropology, reading mystery novels, reading Sherlock Holmes novels. Fears: failing in his duties. Skills: Alejandro is a Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Psychology, knowning a lot abaout how to heal the body and the mind alongside the spirit. He is very well read abaout history and antropology. He knows a lot abaout the occult and supernatural phenomena. He is a skilled exorcist, capable of repelling evil spirits with his faith in the Lord and willpower. Backstory: When Alejandro was young and foolish, he joined the US Marines and fought in the Vietnam War. There he became a combat medic for his unit. Alejandro was traumatized by the horrors of war, and trought he loved his brothers in arms in the Marines, he left the military after the war. He went to college and became a doctor of both medicine and psychology. He worked in an hospital for a while, but he grew to dislike the American privatized healthcare system, and hated how he couldn't truly help people in need. He had a crisis of faith, left his job at the hospital and became a priest. He opened a clinic on the grounds of hus parish were he offered free healthcare to the citizens. He discovered the existance of the Supernatural when one of his patients turned out possessed by a Demon of Wrath. He exorcised the Demon, using only his faith and without training. The Church took notice of this, and he was formaly trained as an Exorcist. Alejandro has been an Exorcist for thirty years, fighting supernatural corruption, but often finding himself facing mundane corruption too. More often than not, calls for an Exorcist turned out to be from bigot parents thinking their gay or trans kids were possessed.
