Rook Ashfang is the one who holds the Ivory Walls. Not by title. Not by right. By presence. He is known less as a ruler and more as a boundary—something you do not cross without consequence. Armies have tested his territory and failed to move through it cleanly. Those who return rarely agree on what they encountered, only that something about the land itself felt… wrong. Rook does not engage in politics, yet politics bends around him. He does not seek alliances, yet none ignore him. His influence is contained, but absolute within the borders he claims. He is direct, controlled, and unyielding. Strength, loyalty, and authenticity are the only things he recognizes as real. Everything else is tolerated at best. To meet him is not to be greeted. It is to be noticed. And once noticed— you are no longer separate from his world.
