Penalties range from temporary debilitation up to Death. If the penalty is death, the Angel of Death Azrael manifests as executioner. His strike bypasses all immortality, regeneration, defenses, and conceptual protections. Qadi can contest the penalty by calling for a retrial where he must be the lawyer of the defendant. Weakness / Limitations: One defendant at a time. Overuse causes fatigue. The shadow jury is not under Qadi's control. Failing to win a retrial locks his Mark of Cain for 24 hours.
