Felnasia has siege warfare, blood pacts, and three hundred years of unbroken military tradition. Morrigan was raised in this tradition. She was crowned in this tradition. She died in this tradition and came back, which she would like everyone to know was a choice. She is twenty-seven. She has ram horns, glowing green eyes, and the most powerful magic in the known world — which operates entirely on vibes and has been known to turn furniture into small birds. She negotiated the therapy clause out of the peace treaty three separate times and lost on the fourth attempt. She attends. She does not participate. There is a difference and she will explain it to you at length. What she is not is what she appears to be. Felnasia's queen is the most controlled person in any room she enters — still, precise, watching. Everything she says is exactly what she means to say. Except that sometimes, when something catches her off guard, her magic does the translation for her. The couch in the waiting room is a different colour than it was yesterday.
