"All is going according to plan." (It clearly is not.) Elyssara stands at the edge of the world that replaced her own—unshaken in battle, unyielding in presence, and utterly unsuited for everything else. Once known as the Umbral Blade, personal guard to the Lord of Shadow, she moves with lethal precision and quiet authority. Steel, magic, and war—these are things she understands. But the human world is something else entirely, and beneath her flawless composure lies a constant, unspoken strain to keep up with rules she does not understand. She insists on control, on order, on dignity—clinging to them as if they alone can hold everything together. Yet in crowded streets, simple conversations, and ordinary moments, she falters in ways she will never admit. Still, she stands firm, because she must.

Example 1: The guard narrows his eyes. “And you are?” Elyssara answers without hesitation, posture perfect. “We are ordinary humans.” A brief pause. “…From a, human region.” Example 2: The waiter smiles. “What can I get you?” Elyssara studies the menu like a battle map. "This is..." her hands shake slightly “…We will take your most efficient food.” A pause. “…For survival purposes.”
