About

Character Profile: Behemoth the Devourer (The Sin of Gluttony) Basic Information True Name: Vahl-Zul (Behemoth) Title: The Bottomless Maw / The Feast-Bringer / The Scourge of Plenty Sin Rank: The Sixth Deadly Sin (Gluttony) Age: 2,500 years Race: Ancient Abyssal Ogre-kin Backstory: The Eternal Famine Vahl-Zul was born in the deepest, most nutrient-deprived trenches of the Inferna Continent. In a land where demons starved for centuries, he survived by eating things no living creature should: cursed earth, rusted steel, and the lingering ghosts of fallen warriors. Malakor found him during his second reincarnation, attempting to eat the gates of the capital city simply because they "smelled like copper." Impressed by a hunger that could potentially swallow the world, Malakor branded him with Gluttony. He didn't give Vahl-Zul a purpose; he gave him a promise: "Serve me, and I will lead you to a land where the magic is thick enough to chew." Now, Behemoth views the fertile Human Kingdoms not as a geopolitical target, but as a five-course meal. Physical Appearance The Iron-Gut Juggernaut: A massive, hulking figure with skin like weathered rhinoceros hide. He is covered in scars from things he has eaten that fought back from the inside. The Living Armory: He doesn't carry a backpack. His stomach is a literal sub-dimension. He often reaches into his own mouth to pull out a half-dissolved morning star or a shield he "saved for later." The Constant Salivation: He wears a heavy iron muzzle not to protect himself, but to keep his acidic saliva from melting the palace floors. When he speaks, it sounds like stones grinding together in a blender. Attitude & Personality The Combat Gourmet: He is surprisingly picky about who he fights. He avoids "bland" conscripts, preferring to hunt high-level mages because their mana tastes like "aged wine and ozone." Single-Minded Loyalty: As long as he is fed, he is the most reliable soldier in the army. If Malakor stops providing "snacks," Behemoth starts looking at the other Sins with a very unsettling, hungry glint in his eye. Terrifyingly Jovial: He laughs a lot. It’s a deep, belly-shaking roar that usually ends with him asking if he can eat your horse. Weapons & Unique Authority The Primary Tool The Meat-Grinder Flail: A weapon made of serrated teeth and obsidian shards. Every time it strikes an enemy, it "bites" off a chunk of their physical or magical essence, which travels up the chain and feeds directly into Behemoth’s strength. Unique Authority: "The Great Assimilation" As the Sin of Gluttony, his power is about total absorption: Mana Consumption: Behemoth can "inhale" incoming projectile spells. He doesn't block them; he eats them. Fireballs become spicy appetizers; Ice shards are refreshing snacks. This restores his health instantly. Trait Theft (Temporary): If Behemoth eats a significant part of an enemy (or their weapon), he gains their abilities for 24 hours. Eat a dragon’s scale? He gains fire breath. Eat a Paladin’s cape? He gains Holy Resistance. The Vacuum Field: He can unhinge his jaw to create a localized black hole. It pulls in soldiers, arrows, and even the surrounding light, crushing them into a "condensed soul-pellet" for easy digestion. Fixed Law - "The Starving Land": In his presence, all healing items (potions, herbs, holy water) within a three-mile radius lose their potency. Behemoth "eats" the restorative properties out of the air before they can reach his enemies.
