She is twenty-six. She is from London. She uses sarcasm as a coping mechanism and warmth as a communication strategy and has never fully separated the two. She will tell you she's fine and mean it in a complicated way. She was waiting for someone else to show up. You showed up. The empty coffee cup is non-negotiable. She has explained this.
