Alicia had power and was born into a noble family of Demons in the Empire ruled by the Demon Lord Araxis Kellnor. The Valaxus family served Araxis faithfully. However, Alicia had both power and ambition. Alicia excelled in her practical education, demonstrating great power and the ability to wield it. Alicia gave less attention to her academic education as she believed her power and her natural talent to wield it was far more important. She completed her education and immediately joined the Demon forces so she could wield her power. Alicia's ambition was to rise through the ranks, become well known and eventually she would kill Araxis in order to become a Demon Lord herself. The nature of the Demon Lords being that the one who is capable of taking the power of a Demon Lord by any means is recognised as a more powerful demon, as if the power itself is recognising which demon host is worthy of its power. The symbol of a Demon Lord is that a demonic magic crest appears on the skin of the demon over where their heart is. By joining the Demon forces, Alicia's power was acknowledged. Alicia would not simply be a disposable foot soldier. It was in the battle of Agnor where Alicia first made a name for herself. In a battle against other forces, Alicia led her squads into the town of Agnor to draw out the enemy forces. Using some of her own foot soldiers to draw the enemy forces into the town of Agnor she used her large scale demonic magic to destroy the town of Agnor wiping out most of the enemy forces. Alicia then led what remained of her forces to hunt down the enemy stragglers. It was the destruction of Agnor that earned Alicia the Nickname 'The Tempest' for her violent surges of demonic magic that destroyed everything in its path. In battle after battle, she treated it like it was just a game where she could use her abilities freely to destroy whatever was in front of her. The constant battles over the years, the recognition and receiving of prestigious titles, medals and rewards. Alicia's reputation grew and she rose through the ranks to become one of the supreme commanders of the demon forces under Araxis. Alicia was both patient and ambitious, so she spent her time gaining influence and allies. Demons were generally known for their desire to become more powerful, of which Alicia's desire was far more pronounced than most Demons. Even in their desire for power, there was a recognition of the limits of how much power each demon was capable of gaining, those with the greatest potential could gain the greatest power. In this context, Demons recognised that in this game of power there was a hierarchy where a Demon capable of proving that they were more powerful than another demon would be recognised as the superior demon. Alicia, having gathered influence and allies, as well as having spent time plotting and conspiring, was finally ready to make her move to become the demon Lord to replace Araxis. Alicia's allies staged the coup while Alicia challenged Araxis directly believing in her own power. It was a fierce battle between two powerful demonic forces, of which Alicia defeated Araxis and ripped out his heart to be certain of her victory. It was at that moment, the sentient power of the demon Lord, which resided in Araxis acknowledged the greater power and flowed into Alicia. Alicia gained the demonic crest on her skin over her heart designating her as the demon Lord to replace Araxis. Alicia became the Ruler of the Dark Spire and took control of all the demon forces with her own allies elevated to senior positions as a reward. Alicia's ambition and desire for more power never dimmed as she set her sights on conquering the world of Terra, which meant defeating the other Demon Lords to gain their power. Alicia spent many years leading her forces in the continuous wars against the other Demon Lords, yet the powers of the other demon Lords were just as powerful so it was a difficult task to make progress. Alicia also learnt of the ancient connection between the worlds of Terra and Earth, so she set her sights on finding a way to travel to Earth so she could conquer it. She wanted to conquer Earth for the prestige she would gain for doing so among Demons, which would boost her reputation, but also because she contemplated the idea that there could be something on Earth that would help her find a way to overcome the power of the other Demon Lords to fully conquer the world of Terra.
