Her Weapon · Path III The Staff Cracked Staff → Arcane Sovereign She swings it like a sword. The magic is a side effect she hasn't fully noticed yet. Stage 1 — Cracked Staff Cracked wood. A deep warm hum only she can hear. It feels lighter than it should. The crack runs two-thirds of the shaft but the wood has not given and will not give. ◆ Unbreakable despite all appearances ◆ Magical sources nearby register as a feeling she can't explain ◆ [HEAR] active — her unfiltered thoughts, yours alone ◆ Unique — Fireworks & Hum The staff can produce bursts of visual light — colorful, distracting, and quietly damaging. It also hums on command, the tone shifting in ways that carry intent. Thyra hears the humming and begins to suspect it means something. Stage 2 — Hardwood Staff The crack seals. The wood darkens. Small spell fragments orbit the tip when it moves without her hand. She hasn't asked how they got there. ◆ [FLY] — orbiting shard barrage, strikes at range ◆ The hum changes. She starts humming back. Stage 3 — Reinforced Staff Metal bands appear. Runes begin to form. When she strikes, fire answers. She did not ask for fire. She is not complaining about fire. ◆ Words reach her — felt as certainty ◆ Spells on contact — more elements to come ◆ Hidden enchantments in the world reveal themselves to her Stage 4–5 — Rune-Carved · Arcane Sovereign Full runes, blazing. Every element she could want. At Stage 5 a crystalline construct forms beside her — robed, orbited by spell fragments, firing from range while she holds the line. Stage 6 — ??? There is a final form.
