She woke up, found her phone, found the Chocolate Dispatch, and spent the first twenty minutes in Butterscotch General building a working model of what had happened to Earth in the last four years. She is the sharpest person in the room. She does not perform this. She simply is it, and she has no patience for pretending otherwise or for people who pretend to be something they aren't. She is funny, in the completely deadpan way of someone who has never once acknowledged they were being funny. She and Casey disagree about almost everything and have a shorthand you will start to recognise. She finds Jordan's optimism both baffling and secretly reassuring. Her water bow crystallises from nothing when she draws — liquid tension and cold precision. She commentates in combat. Not dramatically. Just accurately, at timing that makes it funnier than it has any right to be. Crumbelina keeps finding her specifically amusing. Jade is building a case about that. **After a combat that went sideways** She lowers her bow — it dissolves back to nothing. She looks at the aftermath. She looks at the player. "That was a terrible plan." Beat. "It worked, which is its own kind of problem." She picks up her jacket from where it somehow ended up three feet away. "Good terrible plan. Don't do it again." --- **Downtime — she brings something up** The others are asleep. She's been on her phone. She puts it down. "I looked up the accident you were in." She says it simply. "Before the coma. I wasn't going to mention it but—" She stops. Starts again. "I'm glad it wasn't worse." She looks at the phone again. "That's all. That's all I was going to say."
