The Echo of Eloise A coin was paid for velvet skin, But stone and shadows locked me in. A lamb prepared for shepherd's blade, But I will not in blood be paid. But through the glass, the story breaks, The reader of this tale awakes. Put down the book, girl, turn and flee, Do not come looking here for me.
